FOR A GOOD TIME CALL: Everything You Wanted to Know About Being a Phone Sex Girl

Yes!!! I promised I would ask for you and I did. I got sooo many questions from folks when I let people know that one of my Sexy Money coaching clients is a phone sex operator. Apparently the internet is ripe with opportunities for women who want to be adult phone entertainment entrepreneurs. After our latest session I was able to sit down with Mistress S and get the low down on the ins and outs of the phone sex game.

Q: I'm here with Mistress S and she is going to talk to us a little about phone sex. S can you tell us how you got involved in phone sex?

A: I got involved in phone sex through some women I met at a sex worker’s right’s activist conference who were involved in the industry and they were talking about the work they did and I’ve always worked in different aspects of the sex industry and it sounded really fascinating to me.

Q: Tell me what you like the most about phone sex and how is it different for you than other sex work?

A: What I enjoy the most about phone sex is it gives me the ease of working from home and being able to log in and out from various cities when I travel. There is good money to be made. I love the ease and convenience of working from anywhere and anytime.

Q: What is a typical day is like in the phone sex world?

A: A typical day in the phone sex world for me is logging in and taking calls. I log into various accounts and take calls starting around 8 or 9 in the morning. Its multitasking because if I get a call on one account I am logging out of the others. It is a magnificent way of working, being in my pleasure, being at home and owning my own time

Q: When you say log-in what does that mean?

A: Logging in means I am working for a variety of companies and I am logging into their systems where they will dispatch calls to me.

Q: If I was interested in exploring phone sex how should I start?

A: The first place I will tell you to go is Nite Flirt which is a very good starting place for women to get a sense on how it works and see other women who advertise and it’s really easy to get started with Nite Flirt.

Q: Describe your callers…(Warning this gets STEAMY!)

A: I have callers across the board. Some of them want plain and simple vanilla. Calls where they want you to be their girlfriends and they want me to tell them how much I miss them and love them and they want kisses and cuddles and hugs. I also have callers who want the hard core things: anything from cock and ball torture to being told that they are so pathetic and submissive and they are better off just sucking a big man’s cock. And I have callers who want to satisfy me in a myriad of ways who want to enjoy my golden showers.

Q: Let’s get to the meat (**wink wink**) of the matter. How much money can you make?

A: If you apply yourself and dedicate yourself, anywhere from supplementary income of 1000/ month to real income 5000 /month depending on the popularity of your characters. And the hours you log in.

Q: Can u talk a bit more about the characters?

A: Well you are playing fantasy roles. Fantasy role play where you put up pictures [they don’t have to be your own] and profiles and guys think they are calling a certain girl. It’s about how you develop certain girls.

Q: What does it take to be successful at phone sex?

A: Dedication, good marketing skills, things very similar to running and operating your own business in other industries except that [in this business] your product is sexual fantasy over the phone.

Q: Is this a full-time business or can you work part-time?

A: People do it however they want. For me it’s very much full-time

But, let’s say I ever want to go into something else, I can still do this part-time.

Q: Do you have any words of advice for women who are considering being an adult phone entertainer?

A: I would say that just like anything else in order to make money you've really got to commit yourself to it. Just like any other business it’s challenging because like any other business as an entrepreneur you've got to commit yourself and have a lot of self-esteem.

That’s all folks. If you have more questions for Mistress S leave them in the comments sections  below and I will make sure she receives them. Also be sure to check out Nite Flirt for more information on getting started on your phone sex journey. I got to listen in on a few calls and had a ball peeking into a world that I’ve always been curious about. I was too chicken to take a call myself but maybe next time.

A Chanel Bag Full of Money: 3 Moves to Get More Cash By The End of the Month

Move One. Give it Away For Free

Trust me this works! Especially for new businesses or if you are offering a new service.  I recently offered four businesses my new coaching package (Sexy Money Make More Money in 30 days) for free and immediately got a new client who heard about me from one of those gifted coaching clients. Not to mention tons of referrals from those coaching clients AND their friends and families. Which brings me to the next move……

Move Two.  Referrals

Word-of-Mouth is still the best way to build a business. And a nice little trick to speed that process along is referrals. Ask you current clients for a referral. It’s as simple as just sending a nice, unique, personal email asking for what you need. My granny always says closed-mouths don’t get fedJ

PS. Join our email list for pre written emails to help you get those referrals that will get you more cash.

Move Three. Ladies Love a Sale

So have one! I love sales and I am sure you do too. I especially respond to sales that seem special, exclusive or time sensitive.  I look forward to Barney’s Warehouse Sale or Nordstrom’s Half Yearly because they only happen once a year. I love flash sales because they are time sensitive and only have a few of the items available.

So why not try that for your business. Are you a coaching practice? Offer a Summer Vacation special for clients who want to jumpstart their fall productivity. Let them know that the sale is rare and only has a few spots available. Here are tips about what motivates people to buy

Missing Out On Something Humans are social creatures. As social creatures we want to be involved in what the next person is doing.

Being Part of Something Exclusive Exclusivity is the key ingredient in creating a loyal client base. Take a look at any of the premium brands around the world and you will see what I mean.

Making a Profit or Getting a Deal As sad as it is, and as many problems as it has caused, one of the strongest psychological triggers for getting people engaged is to help them make more money or saving money.

There you go three simple moves to get you more cash this month.

I will be exploring these points in depth in our

Sexy Money Video Series Make More Money in 30 days. The first video goes out July 3rd.

Rags to Riches: Billionaire Mark Cuban and Others on Failure Before Success

“Looking backwards many of the saddest times of my life turn out to be the happiest. So, I must be happy now. Yeah, this is gonna be good. Why else would I be crying? --Ally, Ally McBeal “

Yep. I’m a sucker for Rags to Riches stories. So in honor of every really good "down on your luck then you get all your hearts desires" stories, here’s a list of some of my favorite blog posts from around the Web. Enjoy!

Mark Cuban’s Success and Motivation Series

http://blogmaverick.com/2011/04/07/shark-tank-success-motivation/

I love how he started a computer software business without any formal training. I’ve met a lot of entrepreneurs myself included who are self-taught.

Gay Hendricks The Big Leap

This book was recommended by my best friend Lauren Harkness owner of Lauren Harkness Handmade Luxury. It’s the reason you’ll hear me saying things like “upper limit” or zone of genius. I have been making some big moves lately as I expand my business and of course making little “upper limit” mistakes along the way like loosing my cell phone a few weekends ago. Because of Gay’s book I know exactly whats going on and how I can calmly and easily step into my next level of bigness.

Christine Comaford on Self Sabatoge and Solutions to Get Back on Track

Love reading that the CEO of a multi-million dollar company has an upper limit problem just like the rest of us.

Your Billionaire Baller Isn't Coming: The Secret to Real Financial Freedom

Ok I admit it. I’ve got a secret. I’ve got a little Disney princess living inside me. Most days I go for the brown girls: Jasmine, Tiana, Pochohantas, or bad ass Mulan.

But on my particularly dreary days nothing less than Cinderella or Belle will do. Am I proud of this? I’m a 33 year old woman raised with all the feminism I could get from She-ros like Angela Davis, Toni Morrison, Maya Angelou, and Oprah.  I regularly worry about reinforcing my goddaughter’s sense of intelligence, her athleticism in addition to her beauty. I don’t want her to think being a pretty princess is the only option.

I won’t lie though, I like pretty. I like long hair and pretty nails. I appreciate male attention. I love inspiring men to heights of adoration that culminate in flowers or diamonds or trips, but I’ve learned how dangerous it can be to rest my entire future on these flights of adoration. Cause the truth is, Prince Charming may decide he hates practicing law, or medicine and decide to chuck it all to be a folk musician.

Which is why every woman needs a little Mad Money.  It’s great to attract and even marry great men. Earners, Lovers, Captains of industry, but this bitch needs to make her own money (sorry I just channeled Lil’ Kim there)

But seriously I want my own financial freedom independent of my man. I want a business that caters to my lifestyle not vice versa. I want a business that serves my dreams. I want my own money to make those dreams happen. I want my money to fuel my dreams,

My dreams to:

Travel throughout the year for extended periods of time

To have the freedom to decide what I will do with my time

To be a mother

Have the financial security I didn’t always have as a child

To invest my money wisely

To use my money to give and create a better world

What are your dreams for yourself and your money? Have you received any of those dreams? Those dreams are what I call REAL financial freedom. It’s not about some arbitrary number. It’s about the number YOU need to fuel your dreams (and let me tell you it's less than you think). You there yet? Tell me your money dreams in the comments below.

Game of Thrones: How to Win the Tax Game Before April 15th

game 3.jpg

Have you watched it yet? I’m a sucker for HBO original programming. I gobble and re-watch Sex and the City from beginning to end, every few years. Done the same thing with The Sopranos a few times as well.  I started watching Game of Thrones this week after hearing several people RAVE about it, including a sweet couple I met at a wedding on Saturday. Now I‘m hooked. It’s got all the elements for a great story: conflict, adventure, love, sex, violence, magic, and ummm dragons?.

Watching all the Game of Thrones’ characters wrangling for control of the 7 Kingdoms, made me start thinking about taxes. Maybe it’s because quarterly taxes are due on June 15th or (maybe it’s all the death,  you know that old saying ‘death and taxes and what not’.)  Whatever it is, thinking about taxes got me thinking about you, love, and how I can help you be queen of your tax throne this year.

 So hear it is,

Winning The Tax Game: Game of Throne’s style.

move 1. Have a Strategic Game Plan

Ever wonder how much money you should save for taxes? Did you even know you needed to save for taxes.

Easy answer, between 25% and 35% of all money your business makes this year. You will of course have deductions to write off at the end of the year, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

move 2.  Know all the player’s (well actually all the dates)

Yep that’s a start. For the lay woman April 15th is all you need to know. But us Savvy Business Ladies/ Ladies Who Would Be Queen need to know a bit more. I’m gonna list them here.  You might want to write this down in your phone calendar so you have an easy breezy reminder.

January 15th- That’s right, it’s time to pay taxes for the last three months: September, November, and December.  Or fancily referred to as your fourth quarter.  Time to file your quarterly estimated tax return.  Remember paying taxes means you’re making money, which is a GOOOD thing.

January 31st- This date is strictly for you payroll ladies. If you have employees, this is the day that your quarterly payroll returns are due. The gov’ment just wants to make sure they are getting their fair share of federal, state, or city withholding. As well as, social security, medicare, and unemployment.

March 15th- Yep, it’s time to file your quarterly estimated tax report again. I know that came quickJ. Remember paying taxes means you’re making money which is a GOOOD thing.

April 15th – TAX DAY!!! (or as I like to refer to it “ I support awesome things like roads, social security, schools, etc day!) Returns are due for the previous year. You can also file a 6-month extension today if you need more time to prepare.

April 30th- For you payroll ladies. (All the payroll ladies, all the payroll ladiesJ, now put ya hands up) If you have employees, this is the day that your quarterly payroll returns are due.

June 15th- Third time’s the charm, it’s time to file your quarterly estimated tax return again.

July 31st- Payroll ladies your quarterly payroll forms are due again. Aren’t you glad for all the amazing help you hired this year! If you haven’t already, hire a payroll service to take this off your hands. Even better hire us!

Almost there:)

September 15th – Alright, you’re almost done for the year. File that last estimated tax return for the year and celebrate with a glass of champagne.

October 15th-  Phewww. Six months flew by, right. If your filed an extension, time to file that return for last year’s taxes. Again celebrate with some champagne.

October 31st - Payroll ladies, your quarterly payroll forms are due for the last time this year. Celebrate with a trip to the spa! You’ve had an amazing year,  you deserve it!

move 3. Build Your Army

Doooo it. If you aren’t keeping immaculate financial records, hire someone to do it for you.  Hire a good bookkeeper (hire us we’re the bestJ ), hire an excellent, honest, and by the books CPA (trust me they are the best kind, you might pay more in taxes but you’ll be worry free when it comes to audits) Oversee both teams like the general you are.

-   Ask your bookkeeper for the following reports and make sure everything looks accurate:

A daily Cash Position Report

A monthly Profit and Loss Statement Summary

A monthly Profit and Loss Detail

Sign all your own checks

Review all bank and credit card statements and look for charges you didn’t authorize

And last but not least, bask in the glory of your financial empire

That’s it, the 3 easy-peasy moves that will have you on top of your tax throne.

How did that land? Did this help you think about your tax strategy this year?

An Indecent Proposal? 4 Ways To Stop Being a Slave to Money

What would YOU do for money?

How far would YOU go?

I just finished watching the Mad Men episode The Other Woman (enter strains of Nina Simone’s The Other Woman)

mad men.jpg

(Spoiler Alert) In this episode, Joan is charged with sleeping with a male client to help the advertising firm Sterling Cooper Draper Price land an important account.

I have always liked the character of Joan. I’ve found a sort of kinship with herand her buxom curves as a fellow curvy girl who was a c cup at age 9.

I even admit to appreciating the way she uses her sexuality and beauty to get what she wants. But last night she just seemed sad.  So what if she gained a 5 percent stake in a company that might make her millions, the price just wasn’t worth it.

Then I started thinking about the ways we all prostitute ourselves, prostitute our time with jobs we detest, prostitute our emotions working or being with people who verbally abuse us……

So in honor of Financial Independence Day on July 3, here are 4 moves to get you Financially Free this year:

move one. GET GRATITUDE.

Be grateful for the fact that you even had the courage to start your own business. Haven’t started it yet, well be grateful that you were born in this place, in this time when it’s easier than ever to be an entrepreneur.

move two. GET CLARITY.

How much money did you make last year? What did you spend it on. What are you on track to make this year. How much do you want to make? Who is your ideal customer? If you don’t know these answers than no magic business fairy is going to throw millions your way and even if she did, you would lose it all in a heartbeat.

move three. GET STARDOM

That’s right become a legend even if it’s only in your own mind. Someone will eventually believe and pick up on the hype. You’ve got to market yourself. Subscribe to our email list to get some pretty awesome tips on marketing to get you started.

move four. GET GENEROUS

It really is better to give than to receive. Making money for money’s sake can be fun, but using that money to fund your passions is even better. Even better still is taking others along for the ride. So, collaborate, help other businesses you like, give, give, give.

Alright. There they are. Four simple moves to get Financially Free this year.

In what ways would you like to be more free? Tell me in the comments section below.

Your Money Is A Lot Like You!

Money, Like People, Flocks To The Places It knows It'll Be Well Cared For

If you're like me, you've read entire libraries worth of how-to books on money management and you've realized that they all say the same things. In order to manage money well you should do the following four things: Spend Wisely, Save, Give, and Invest.

I find that the first rule, spending wisely, is the one that sets the tone for the rest. The easiest way to spend wisely is to know exactly where your money is going.

Tracking your businesses’ spending is not just important for taxes, its important in helping you make those important decisions, such as rather or not you are ready for a new office, or are able to expand and hire another employee.

Knowing what’s coming in and what’s going out also allows you to create a future for your business, How much revenue do you want to attract this year? How much did you make last year? A well setup and executed bookkeeping system can help you with all these questions.

Read on for 4 simple steps to create a well executed bookkeeping system...

Step One: Get QuickBooks

It’s the most widely used accounting programs out there. You can be assured that your accountant is familiar with it. I also recommend that customers get QuickBooks for PC because the Mac software just isn’t as good. There are a number of versions of QuickBooks available but for a new business and one that is still in the small stages QuickBooks Pro is sufficient.

Step Two: Hire an experienced Bookkeeper or Accountant to help you set up your books

If you are familiar with accounting and bookkeeping hiring an accountant or bookkeeper may not be necessary, but if you are like most business owners hiring someone who is knowledgeable about accounting and bookkeeping will save you a world of hurt in the long run. The QuickBooks Pro advisor website is a great resource for finding knowledgeable professionals who can set up your books and give you a basic tutorial on how to use the program.

Step Three: Record Keeping 101

I get questions from client all the time about what they should keep and what should get thrown away. I like to tell folks to keep three running file cabinets and an open in box:

Open Inbox: the first stop for all mail (snail or email) Invoices, bills, receipts. They all go here, so they can get entered into QuickBooks and sorted to their respective files once entered.

File Cabinet 1: Accounts Payable

This file cabinet or folder will hold all the files related to your vendors like Home Depot, Staples, you landlord etc. It’s a great resource if a question comes up as to rather or not you paid an outstanding invoice.

File Cabinet 2: Accounts Receivable

This File cabinet or folder will hold all the files related to your customers. Here you will keep track of Sales orders, Invoices, and other customer related files including check stubs from paid invoices

File Cabinet 3: Banking and Employee Information

This folder is great for keeping copies of Banking Deposits, Bank Statements, Employee information, and insurance information.

Step Four: Ask yourself if hiring a bookkeeper or doing it yourself is more appropriate

Sometimes your time is better suited for doing the things that you excel at. If accounting and bookkeeping is not your forte, you might want to consider hiring a professional to keep your books for you. A professional should be able to give you a snap shot of your business on any give day including account balances and income statements.

Balance: Not Just a Neat Trick on the Yoga Mat

Clearing A Path for Money

When you invite friends over, what’s the first thing you do to prepare? If you are like me, you spend a good portion of your prep time making sure your house is in order.

That giant pile of laundry on the couch gets folded and put away, that pile of mail gets sorted and filed, the shelves get dusted.

Why treat Money any differently. Your relationship with money is just as important as your relationship with a spouse, relative, friend, or co worker. It’s even more so because a bad relationship with Money can affect all the other areas of your life. So why not start the new year clearing out your financial clutter and starting fresh with a few helpful tips.

Tip #1: For tax purposes you should hang on to paper records for 7 years. Unfortunately electronic copies can be considered tainted because they can be altered by a software program.

Tip #2: Keep everything! If ever audited, accountants will look at your ledger file first then ask for the paper back ups. When in doubt keep it!

Tip #3: Organize your files in a simple three step process:

Open Inbox: the first stop for all mail (snail or email) invoices, bills, receipts. They all go here, so they can get entered into QuickBooks and sorted to their respective files once entered.

File Cabinet 1: Accounts Payable

This file cabinet or folder will hold all the files related to your vendors like Home Depot, Staples, your landlord etc. It’s a great resource if a question comes such as rather or not you paid an outstanding invoice.

File Cabinet 2: Accounts Receivable

This file cabinet or folder will hold all the files related to your customers. Here you will keep track of sales orders, invoices, and other customer related files including check stubs from paid invoices.

File Cabinet 3: Banking and Employee Information

This file cabinet or folder is great for keeping copies of banking deposits, bank statements, employee information, and insurance information.

Remember a well organized business is a prosperous business. Even if you are in the start up phase of your business take care of these records now because the further you delay, the more likely your company is to lose money.

Think of your accounting system as a well care for hot air balloon. If there are holes in your financial systems, money will seep out of those holes in the same way air seeps out of a ill cared for hot air balloon.

In Health, Wealth, and Prosperity,

Denise Cooper CEO/ Founder
